Last Monday I went to the Gramercy Theater to see the American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen. Ironically when I watched his season of Idol I was kinda indifferent about him and I hate to admit this, but I honestly don't remember much about any of his performances. I was too busy being captivated by Adam Lambert and the way he commanded the stage! Once their season ended though my opinion of both of them completely switched. Don't get me wrong I still like Adam, but I really haven't followed him since his first album, which I loved by the way. Now Kris on the other hand I have become a HUGE fan of! If he's playing anywhere in NY you better believe I'll be there! He is such a talented musician, plus the nicest guy you ever want to meet!
The first opening act was Hannah Gill and the Hours.
Followed by Jesse Ruben a singer song writer with a great sense of humor!
Then finally it was time for Kris Allen!
