Upon finding out at the age of 4 that her toy Fisher Price Camera did not take real pictures, Janette Pellegrini became infatuated with photography. Now as an adult, that passion for taking photographs is shared with the world of entertainment, imagination and fantasy. Whether it is a rock concert or a theatrical production, she’s happiest in front of a stage with a “real” SLR camera in hand, capturing those precise moments that are both visually exciting and also tell a story.
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Janette attended college at Hofstra University where she received a BA in Fine Arts, concentrating in Photography. Since then she has had her work published in numerous web and print publications, including People Magazine, OK Magazine, Bravo.com and Yahoo.com just to name a few. Currently she works as a photo contributor for Getty Images and is the still photographer for Broadhollow Theater Company in Long Island.
