Food Truck & Rock Carnival

Check out theses photos I took of some amazing bands this past Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Food Truck and Rock Carnival at Oak Ridge Park in Clark New Jersey.  It was a fun day filled with great friends, a lot of food and awesome music!

First up was Dead Fish Handshake, a band I was introduced to by a friend about a year ago and had really enjoyed them.

Next was the whole reason why I went to the festival in the first place, Like a Storm. I first met Kent, Chris and Matt Brooks, the 3 brothers from New Zealand, 3 years ago when they opened up for Creed.  Since then it’s been an incredible journey getting to know them and watching their success soar as single after single climbs the modern rock charts.

After that it was over to the Carnival Stage to see Mother, a local NYC band that I’ve had the pleasure of seeing many times before at venues such as The Bitter End and Arlene’s Grocery.

Finally it was time for the headliner I’d been waiting all day for, Stone Temple Pilots.  I have been a huge STP fan ever since I first heard them on the radio back in High School. Core, their first album, was for me the “if I could only have one CD on a deserted Island” CD, and also one of the very first CDs I ever owned. This was the first time I was seeing Chester Bennington fronting the band instead of Scott Weiland and wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised see how well he fit in with the group I’ve loved for so long.

Hope you enjoyed all the photos as much as I did taking them! Feel free to leave any comments or questions! Until next time!
