Every now and again there are days that end up working out perfectly and couldn't be planned any better. Last Thursday I was lucky enough to have one of those days! Some how my BFF managed to score 2 free tickets to not one but 2 completely different shows and both venues, purely by coincidence, happen to be located exactly 1 block from each other!

One of those shows happened to be for another of Ryan Star's sold out Rockwood Music Hall shows. He admitted to the audience that these shows are actually selfish in nature, in that he plays them more for himself then necessarily for us. Given the very intamate setting of Stage 3, there is no mistaking the passion that pours out of him while sharing his music. Originally he was planning on trying out some new songs for us but ended up running into a few friends before the show, who just happen to be his band members when he's not playing solo, and ended up dragging them up on stage to play along!
